WLFC February Luncheon: Understanding the Transgender Community and the Law

Please join us as we welcome Tara Allison, Esq. to discuss her personal experiences as a member of the transgender community.  Learn about what it means to be transgender and the legal and social challenges faced by the transgender community in today’s environment.  

Tara Allison is an active public speaker on LGBT-related issues, including at the TransOhio Annual Transgender and Ally Symposium.  She served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy and after being honorably discharged worked as a nuclear engineer for more than a decade.  She currently practices law in Columbus primarily in the areas of domestic/family law, Lesbian, Gay, Bi, and Transgender law, contract law, construction law, and civil litigation.
